We understand that providing a hot lunch program is a convenience many schools offer, and we appreciate your understanding as we explain why Sawgrass Adventist School does not currently have one in place.
At Sawgrass, we prioritize the well-being and health of our students above all else. We believe in fostering habits that promote long-term health and wellness, and this extends to the food choices available to our students during the school day.
We also recognize that many families have diverse dietary preferences and restrictions. By not having a hot lunch program, we empower parents to have greater control over their child's diet and accommodate any specific dietary needs they may have.
It's important to note that we did attempt to relaunch the hot lunch program following COVID-19 restrictions. We understand that circumstances have changed due to the pandemic, and we remain open to revisiting this option in the future if there is sufficient demand and if we can maintain our commitment to providing nutritious meal options.
While we acknowledge that not having a hot lunch program may require a bit more planning and preparation on your part as parents, we believe that the long-term benefits to our students' health and well-being make it worth the effort.
We are continuously exploring ways to enhance the overall experience for our students, and we welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have regarding our school's food program. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we strive to create a healthy and nurturing environment for all our students.
